On the first weekend in August, you can feel like you're in the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean at Altena Castle.

Various pirate gangs, as well as redcoats and even a mermaid, will be making an appearance.

Of course, there will be plenty of entertainment: for the little ones, there will be a pirate treasure hunt several times a day, crafts and baking;

Pirate Captain Bart Bernd will present his pirate children's show; and there will be a pirate magician! There will be live music from the band Pyrates and Darth Bronka; even pirate-themed 24-hour weddings can be arranged upon request;

Delicious food and drinks will also be offered in true style, and various vendors will round out the market activities....
