LIVE: Five Years at Sea
On this day 10 years ago, Pyrates! took to the stage for the very first time. It was a rousing success, a night of debauchery, rum, rogues, rapscallions, smugglers, rum, pirates and wenches. Everyone turned out in amazing costumes and we managed to pack the place to the rafters. We had an epic night of it and we've been busy ever since!
There have been many, many mad voyages and adventures as Pyrates! over the last 10 years. Totalling somewhere around 450 performances in 7 countries, some of which I can't quite remember, and of course, there are many great stand out moments that I’ll never forget.
Pyrates! are set for a grand year in 2017, starting with getting to work on recording the promised 3rd album. We’ll be returning to many of our favourite ports of call and we already have some amazing festivals and tours lined up in the UK, Germany, Italy, and of course the Netherlands.
We’re looking forward to playing all these shows & I hope we'll have a fantastic time with you all while we’re on our voyages during 10th year sailing the seas :)
