And we're setting sail me'earties! We're off shortly to play Lömpe Klompe Festival In Bergeijk over in the south part of the Netherlands, It's hosted by our friends SQY Rocking Team, Who asked us to play last year! Their website is mainly in Dutch, But I’m sure you can use Babel to translate it, Make sure you check out their songs. 2010 is going to be a busy year, we're confirmed for a number of festivals that had us last year, and we're picking up a handful of new ones! Plans in 2010 include expanding our band to include a wider range of instrumentation : We're currently auditioning drummers, We're always auditioning Violin players. If you play an accordion, melodeon or similar we'd like to hear from you! (we'd also consider keyboards with the right sound library) You must be around 20-30, have your own transport and a desire to do this full time. Long hair, beard and love of ale, treasure and wenches are all good qualities to have, but not totally essential! We're honoured to be setting sail for Nola Pyrate Week March 26th to April 4th next year. A whole week of mad pyracy, actually 10 days in total, set in the French quarter of New Orleans The main objective of this huge charity orientated event is to help rebuild the still damaged areas of the city after hurricane Katrina left them in ruins in the middle of 2005. We'll be playing all week long in various bars and clubs, our early evening slots have been confirmed at the Funky Pirate We will also be announcing other American Tour dates in the next few months, as we work on filling up our tour schedule! If you want to book us while we're in the United States, please get in touch with us as soon as possible as dates are filling up rapidly outside of Pyrate Week. |
